your room into a security center. It is designed for easy
installation that retrofits a standard
80"
x 30" opening.
You'll value the 10
huge 1-1/2" chrome-plated locking bolts (no deadbolts required on
In-Swing door) featuring "Commercial Grade" vault door hinges. A
"Safety Lock Release"
takes away the worry of being trapped inside and provides for a
safe exit at all times. It also permits you to close and lock the
door from the inside when it is equipped with an electronic lock
enabling your vault to also function as a safe/panic room.
This vault door boasts a U.L. Listed Group II Lock using huge hard
plate and re-locking devices. It also features a "Spy-proof"
key-locking dial with matching 3 star handle (a 5 star handle is
also an option) available in chrome, black nickel or polished
brass finish. A "Pull-Handle" is also available. A new "Adjustable
Door Frame" easily slides together to fit a wall thickness of
4-3/4" to
9-3/4" thick.
For fire protection we use 2 stage "Dual Fire Seals" with a
silicone seal in the door jamb and the trademarked Palusol™
seal in the door itself.

has a 2" thick door which offers a defensive barrier built of a
1/8" inner and 1/4" outer steel plates filled with fire insulating
material providing a barrier against extreme heat. The 2" thick
door of the
MMVD8030BF
is made with a 1/2" steel plate door in combination with a 1-3/8"
layer of special proprietary fire insulation as a defense against
extreme heat
